What is the goal of the maintenance phase?
A
In the maintenance phase, we look after the system.
This includes user support, fixes, enhancements and updates.
The maintenance phase increases the total cost of ownership.

What is a “change request”?
A
A change request is something that is requested to be changed.

What are the different types of change requests?
A
A corrective change request modifies a feature to solve a problem/bug.
An adaptive change request enhances a feature to make it better.
A perfective/preventive change implements a feature to improve the system, and prevents problems that might come with the update such as improving the documentation or running additional changes.
