Donalbain and Malcolm flee from the country because they fear that the person who murdered their father is going to kill them next.
Why does Macduff go to Fife and Ross to Scone?
Macduff goes to Fife, his own castle, because of his concern for the safety of his family. Ross goes to Scone to witness Macbeth’s coronation (because he’ll be crowned king.)
