“Smok’d” connotates heat and hell, forshadowing his evil. Phrase “disdaining fortune” shows how his fate will turn out and his attempt to manipulate natural order
Act 4 violence?
“His wife,his babes,and all unfortunate souls”
Murders are emblematic of Macbeth’s bloodthirst, they are no threat but now he is an unstopable trajectory of murder. Macbeth choose who lives and dies
Macbeth ambition act 1?
“Valour’s minion”
Noun “minion” could foreshadow susceptibility to manipulation and he’ll be a marionette of the witches
Ambition act 2?
“With Tarquin’s ravishing strides, towards his design”
Macbeth ambitiously wants to emulate Tarquin a Roman Tyrant whom raped his wife. So he will be a barbaric tyrant who feels no pity. His ambition obstructs his moral compass. He sees power synonymously with brutality and being a tyrant

“So foul and fair a day I have not seen a day”
Echo the witches paradox becoming a mouthpeice for the withces evil and a vessel for their misconduct

Threatens the witches with an “eternal cause”
- Ironic as wehave seen their overt supernatural power he beleives he can surpersede this. His ego is prevalent as the witches ambiguious apperations provide him ephemeral sense of security and invincibility
Act 3 appearence?
“Make our faces vizarss to our hearts.”
“Vizards” suggest they should wear masks to conceal their true evil nature. Closely resembles “look like th’ innocent flower” he is a puppet of evil influence
Guilt act 2?
“Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle towards my hand? Come let me clutch the”
This suggests he is ridding himself of responsibility over the murder he will commit. Even before comitting the treacherous act of regicide he understands that it will plague his conscience so he poses that it will be put towards him
Act 3 guilt?
“The gory locks at me”
“Gory” is suggestive that Banquo’s ghost is a physical maifestation of his violence. Structurally the muderes enter the banquet before Macbeth. Exacerbating how his kingship is unnatural as he’s disrupted his divine right of kings
Gender act 1?
“Coward”
Epithet which threatens his entire sense of being as a soldier , not only questioning his masculinity but also his livehood
