“Restrain me in cursed thoughts”
Banquo understands ludicrousness of plotting to kill king based on unsubstained prophecies of supernatural. This is the antithesis to Lady M who calls spirits to supernatural forces.

Ambition act 3?
A
“Royal of nature”
Banquo depictedhaving exemplary balance of ambition and respectability. His noble and mejestic nature is not overpowered by his ambition. Macbeth realises Banquo maintained his power as an ambitious hero.
