Lymphoma Flashcards

1
Q

What is the Ann Arbor classification system?

A
1 = 1 node group involves
2 = >1 node group involved, same side of diaphragm
3 = >1 node group involved, both sides of diaphragm, including spleen
4 = extranodal involvement e.g. liver.

Add A if no B symptoms, add B if there are B symptoms e.g. weight loss, night sweats. Prognostic.

Q

What is the CRAB criteria for plasma cell myeloma diagnosis?

A
C = calcium elevation
R = renal insufficiency
A = anaemia
B = bone disease

Also can be biomarkers of malignancy e.g. cloncal plasma cell >60%, SFLC ratio >100, focal lesions on MRI
