Subclavian trunk
Drains upper extremity and axilla
Bronchomediastinal trunk
Drains parasternal, paratracheal, paraesophageal, superior phrenic and brachiocephalic lymph nodes
Right lymphatic trunk drains
Subclavian lymphatic drunk and bronchomediastinal trunk on right side
Empties into subclavian
Thoracic lymph nodes
On right side they drain into right lymphatic duct, on left they drain into thoracic duct Axillary Parasternal Tracheobronchial Intercostal Phrenic Anterior/posterior mediastinal
Axillary nodes
Include pectoral, supraclavicular, inferior deep cervical
Drain most of breast
Parasternal lymph nodes
Drain some of breast, parietal pleura and thymus

Drain bronchopulmonary, subepicardial lymph nodes
Which groups of nodes drain parietal pleura
Parasternal
Intercostal
Phrenic
Anterior/posterior mediastinal
Posterior mediastinal nodes drain
Esophagus, posterior pericardium, thoracic diaphragm and middle posterior intercostal spaces
