-if the noun or pronoun already has a particle attached to it, then -도 will replace the particle
-depending on the placement of -도, the entire sentence can change (be sure to attach -도 to the right noun/pronoun for the meaning!)

to use -도 with verbs, you must change the verb into its noun form (by adding -기 to the verb stem) and add -도 하다
(this literally translates to:
“to do + verb (in noun form) + also”)
-for verbs that are already in “noun + 하다” form, you do not need to add -기 (just separate the noun from 하다 and insert -도) e.g. 공부하다 becomes 공부도 하다
