what causes cauda equina syndrome?
disc degeneration causing nucleus pulposus to herniate and put pressure on spinal nerve roots to the vertebra
what is a prolapsed disc?
The inner softer part of the disc (the nucleus pulposus) bulges out (herniates) through a weakness in the outer part of the disc
what are the symptoms of equina syndrome?
leg pain and numbness
bladder and bowel disfunction
