What is anger?

A

you can feel angry when your happiness is threatened and you stop feeling safe, or your feelings are hurt or you think something is unfair

What should you do when you feel angry?

A
  • Count to ten slowly before doing/deciding anything
  • Kick a ball / punch a pillow / run / dance until you are tired
  • Do something else like cleaning until you calm down
  • try to stop thinking about how angry you are (LET IT GO!)
  • Talk to someone
  • realise anger is naturity emotion that we all feel

A

Any bullying that involves INJURING someone’s body or DAMAGING someone’s possessions

Harmful/hurtful SPEECH without physical contact, causes EMOTIONAL / psychological harm

A

Bullying that uses technology to harm individuals. Often happens online

A

Bullying that aims to damage REPUTATION and social standing. Sometimes called social aggression

- only happens sometimes but
- is often on purpose

A

When people want to do the same thing differently or think about things differently

What are the similarities between an ugly moment and bullying?

Both are
- one sided
- hurtful
- on purpose
Difference is that an ugly moment happens ONCE whereas bully is when ugly moments happen REPEATEDLY

What is the difference between conflict and bullying?

A

Conflict involves two people whereas bullying is one-sided. Conflict is once-off whereas bullying happens repeatedly.
