What is conflict?
Conflict is when we DISAGREE with each other about something.
Conflict makes us FEEL angry or hurt or frustrated or embarrassed
and we want to DO something back to the person (usually arguing or fighting)
When/why does conflict occur?
When people want to do the same thing differently or think about the same thing in a different way
How can you deal with conflict?
- Talk about - tell the person how you feel and/or talk to an adult you can trust
- Recognise differences & learn
- Stop the conflict getting worse - calm down before you speak
How can you avoid conflict? Name 6 ways
- Respect other people
- Good communication.
- Good friendship
- No bullying
- Listening before you speak
- Getting a grownup involved if the situation is too overwhelming
What is a collage?
A collection of pictures or words about one topic or idea stuck to paper or board
What does addicted mean?
when you are dependent on or abusing
What are the 5 main ways to care for your body?
Eating GOOD healthy FOOD
Drinking CLEAN WATER
Get enough SLEEP
EXERCISE regularly
Keep your body CLEAN (by showering, brushing teeth etc)
How do you respect your body?
- look after your body properly
- don’t take or be forced to take anything that is bad for you
How do you respect other people’s bodies?
don’t hit or hurt another person
What things can you get ADDICTED to that are BAD for you?
Using drugs
Drinking alcohol
Smoking cigarettes / a pipe
Sniffing substances like glue
What do you need to protect your body from?
Things/substances that make you addicted to them
Being hurt
When do feelings / emotions help you to develop / grow?
When you feel safe, loved, cared for and respected

things that you are good at

things that we are not so good at
