Do not approach from ends of cylinders.
Consider weather.
Consider low lying areas (e.g. drains, ditches) due to vapour density.

What is a Boil over?
Boil over in a crude oil tank occurs when a layer of lighter hydrocarbons on top of the heavier oil gets heated, leading to rapid vaporisation and then violent overflow

Is where pockets of water are interspersed and instantly heated to boiling point causing steam and frothing at the top of the tank .
