Asbestos is a silicate mineral found in rocks and deposits. It was used in a variety of building products in Australia up until 2003.

What is Friable and non-Friable asbestos materials?
Friable = easily crumbled or pulverised
Eg: insultation
Non-Friable = Hold the fibres and difficult to break down
Eg; floor tiles
