Describe a LP for a patient
A
Invasive procedure that involves exploring / diagnosing problems that are invoklved with the spinal cord / brain
It involves inserting a fine needle in to the lower back to extract fluid which can be sent to the lab for analysis

A
Explore infections in the brain, Autoimmune conditions and to also reduce intracranial pressure

A
Headaches + Bruising of skin

Damage to nerves => Pain + weakness in legs
Infection
