What is Barrett’s oesophagus?
the normal lining of the oesophagus stratified squamous epithelium is replaced with columnar epithelium with goblet cells
What complications can a peptic ucler cause?
long term cancer at the edge of the ucler
perforation leading to pertonitis
massive haematemesis
bleeding=iron deficiency

Helicobacter pylori- gram negative bacteria of the stomach
