follow gastroc up the calf until it divides (2 points)

pillow under thigh, tibia pressed posteriorly (opp of anterior drawer test)

where gastroc first starts to divide (one point)

pillow under proximal tibia, press down on thigh to push tibia forward on femur (opp posterior drawer test)

trauma to front of shin inferior to knee or falling on bent knee

sinus tarsi (4:00 position from lateral malleolus) (just anterior)

medial malleolus, then find tuberosity of navicular bone, then the sustentaculum tali. point runs in arc inferior and posterior to sustentaculum tali

pt lies on side to ankle to be treated is on top leg, edge of foot just off the end of the table with towel under ankle, invert the foot
gastroc tenderpoints
lateral and medial to the points that the fibers begin to separate
treat gastroc tenderpoints
plantarflex the ankle
flexion calcaneous tenderpoint cause
plantar fascitis
flexion calcaneous tenderpoint
anterior edge of heel pad, equidistant to sides of foot
