A
- Toxin Production*-infecting intestinal, enteral toxins-secrete water and electrolytes from intestinal cells. *cytoxins-cause cell death absorbed in bloodstream, causing systemic effects.
2.Alterations in intestinal epithelial cells. Type 3 secretion systems to deliver effector proteins to cells.
3.A/E-bacteria cells inject protein to rearrange actin filaments resulting in replacement if micro villi.
Cell invasion-bacterium is engulfed and multiplied within host cell

Transmission by fecal oral, ingested food/oral water contaminated with food/human feces and sexual snack acts
