A
Loop diuretics act to inhibit the NKCC channels in the apical membrane of the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle, inhibiting Na and Cl reabsorption, results in the reduction of water reabsorption in the collecting ducts

Intravenously effects peak 30 minutes
Duration of action 4 to 6 hours.
