i. Intro - build context. introduce the controversy. provide a thesis
ii. Body paragraph - sandwich claim, data, and warrants. use about two sources per paragraph to make the quotes interact. remember to cite each of the sources as you use it
iii. Body paragraph - sandwich claim, data, and warrants (add more paragraphs as needed)
iv. conclusion - sum up ideas. restate, DO NOT repeat, thesis. Tie up loose ends

- claim: a reason why you believe your thesis is true OR a factor that should be considered
- data: evidence from reading, experience, observations, etc., but especially the sources provided by prompt (you need at least three)
- warrant: explains the data and how it proves the claim. Explains what your data proves
