what does policies mean?
it’s a clear statement of intent of how an organisation intends to conduct its services.
what does procedures mean?
the way in which the service or organisation expects its employees to put its policies into action.
what is the direction starting with the gov
gov (legalisation) > local authority > services > policy’s > procedures
what does legalisation require employees to have.
it needs to have policies and procedures in place, to explain how health, safety and welfare is safeguarded. these polices can vary between services.
