- Assess the ground and immediate area for dangerious obstructions that may cause you harm.

Prepare the ground.

- Clear out any weeds with rake or hoe.
- If soil is firm, loosen it out a little.

To create rows
- Using the Rebar and line, insert it into the ground.
- Make sure the line is taut.
- Using several handfuls of sand, pour over line to mark out planting line.
- Then repeat first three points above and make a second row 60cm away.

Make a marking stick

- Marking stick will probably be supplied.
- Check you are using the correct line length.
- 30cm or 45cm. Depending on your intention with spacings.
- For Strawberries, 45cm if you want to grow and utilize runners.
- 30cm spacing for non runner strawberry plants.

Prepare plants

- Ensure plants are throughly soaked in water.
- Tease out the roots if needed.
- For Strawberries, Clear away soil and expose the crown.
- Using the stick and line, mark out the planting locations along the sand line.
- Don’t forget to use the correct spacing (30 or 45cm)

- Only go as deep as need.
- Dig wide to give roots a chance.

- Removing stones and other items.

- This will help in avoiding any potential contamination for future use.
