  • Using the Rebar and line, insert it into the ground.
  • Make sure the line is taut.
  • Using several handfuls of sand, pour over line to mark out planting line.
  • Then repeat first three points above and make a second row 60cm away.

Make a marking stick

  • Check you are using the correct line length.
  • 30cm or 45cm. Depending on your intention with spacings.
  • For Strawberries, 45cm if you want to grow and utilize runners.
  • 30cm spacing for non runner strawberry plants.

  • Tease out the roots if needed.
  • For Strawberries, Clear away soil and expose the crown.
  • Using the stick and line, mark out the planting locations along the sand line.
  • Don’t forget to use the correct spacing (30 or 45cm)
