Put appropriate control measures in place.

Make sure to wear proper PPE.
- Protective Boots (these are essential)
- Trousers
- Gloves if you feel like.
Check for possible dangers in the area.
- Assess the ground and immediate area for dangerious obstructions that may cause you harm.

Ensure plant is watered.

A
Best way to water the plant is to soak the roots in a basin. Ensure the plant is throughly soaked.

Mark out planting hole.

Mark out a square, which should be double the width of the roots.

Dig hole.

Make sure to use the correct tools.
- Hoe the area to clear weeds before digging.
- Use the Pickaxe if the ground is too solid for the spade.
- Employ the spade for less compatc ground material. Ensure to use correct form. Inside foot.
- Dig to correct depth, ie to the nursery mark on the shrub.

Prepare for planting.

- Keep plants in bag to protect roots till ready.
- Prune the shrub of dead or damaged roots.
- Tease out roots if required.

Place the prepared plant.

- Prepared plant to be placed into hole.
- Nursery mark should be observed.
- Backfill with Shovel (not the Spade). Use correct form, off the knee.
- Make sure to lift/shake plant to fill underneath the roots to prevent airpockets.
- Heel in the area gently but firmly every few shovels.

Level the area.

- Level the area using either the Rake or a Hoe.
- The plant area should not look sunken or lower than the surrounding area.

- Mulch the exposed are around the plant with appropriate media.
- Clean tools throughly to avoid potential contamination for future use.

Healthy and Safety must be adhered to at all times.
- This includes everything of PPE.
- Assessing the area for any potential dangers.
- Using the tools in the correct manner.
