the removal of harmful toxins from the body

urea- kidneys
what is reproduction?
producing more organisms to keep the species alive.
what is movement?
the ability to change position
what is response?
the ability of an organism to gather information and respond to it.
eg. roots - grow down (geotropism)
flowers - grow towards the sun (phototropism)
what is used to identify plants and animals?
a key - a series of questions about the unknown organism which lead you to an answer
what are cells?
the building blocks of living things.
eg. cheek cells, red blood cells, white blood cells.
what is tissue?
when cells join together and carry out the same function.
eg. blood, skin, muscle.
what is an organ?
a group of tissues joined together to carry out the same function.
eg. eyes, stomach, heart, lungs.
