-Painless lymphadenopathy (localized or diffuse) -Fever, drenching night sweats, significant weight loss
NHL
-Short symptom duration -Fatigue, lymphadenopathy -Pancytopenia with blasts -Auer rods
Acute Myeloid Leukemia
-Disease of middle age -Fever, night sweats, low-grade fever -Fever w/o cause -Splenomegaly -Sternal tenderness -Left shift, but few blasts -Very high white count -Philadelphia chromosome
Chronic myeloid leukemia
-Bone pain (often spine, ribs, proximal long bones) -Symptoms of anemia -Increased susceptibility to infx -Neuropathy, spinal cord compression
Multiple myeloma
- Bone pain -Lymphadenopathy -Hepatosplenomegaly -CNS involvement -Pancytopenia with blasts
- Most common in children
Acute lymphoid leukemia
-Many asymptomatic -Fatigue, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly - >50yrs -Results in bone immunosupression and bone marrow failure
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
