Philosophical scepticism
Doubts about real life and normal justifications that has no rational reason as it is not evidence based nor does it have a real life impact, however it is difficult to resolve
Normal incredulity
Rational doubts that are evidence based and can have real life consequences, however are easily resolved using normal evidence
Local scepticism
Doubts about a particular claim/ are confined to one area of knowledge
Global scepticism
Doubts about all our knowledge, especially the nature and existence of anything outside of the mind
Methodic doubt
Doubt that progresses from easier claims to refute to more difficult ones, often ending in the doubt of the foundations of our knowledge
