25
Q

Using center tank fuel for takeoff is _____ when using aircraft____

A

Using center tank fuel for takeoff is _____ when using aircraft____

PROHIBITED on AC 205-216 and 227-229

26
Q

Is taxi with deflated tires permitted

A

Is taxi with deflated tires permitted

YES, but prior to doing so reference VOL ll for limitations

27
Q

When might you consider inhibiting the ROPS function

A

When might you consider inhibiting the ROPS function

AC 389-399 & 601-699

Previously shown as potenttially producing undue ROW alerts

AC 389-393

When a runway is identified as incompatible with rops by CBI (Crew Briefing item) or AIP (Airport Info page) ROPs may be inhibited when the AC position is less than 15NM from the airfield when A. a specific approach procedure has been identified as potentially producing undue ROW alerts and B. Notam displaces the landing threshold.

It is not required to inhibit ROPs if the runway is not in the TAWS database. ROPS self inhibits automaticvally.

28
Q

How do you inhibit the ROPS function

A

How do you inhibit the ROPS function

AC 389-399 & 601-699

ROW/ROP pb-sw set to off on the SURV panel

AC 389-393

TERR pb set to OFF on the GPWS panel
