“ADIRS” ON BATT light
-Self test during full alignment
-one or more IR are on BAT
“ADIRS” IR Align Light Steady (white)
Normal during alignment (approx 10 minutes)
“ADIRS” IR Align Light Flashing (white)
- No position entered within 10 minutes
- Bad position (1º or 60 miles difference between shutdown and entered)
-Fault
“FLT CTL” ELAC
R- Roll (normal, direct law)
A- Abnormal attitudes
P- Pitch (all Laws)
A- Aileron droop
A- Autopilot acquisition
A- Activates the protections

- Sends horn in the cabin
- High pitch tone in the cockpit ( silence by “horn shut off” pb )
“EMER ELEC PWR” Gen 1 Line SMOKE
Smoke detected in Avionics Compartment
(Blower and Extracts would show FAULT)
“EMER ELEC PWR” GEN 1 Line pb OFF
-Gen 1 is disconnected from AC Bus 1 (Gen 2 then powers AC Bus 1)
-Gen 1 is now dedicated to Power one fuel pump in each wing tank
“GPWS” G/S MODE pb / FLAP MODE pb
In Abnormal conditions you would turn those modes OFF
“GPWS” LDG FLAP 3
- Used when Landing Flaps 3
- Need to change performance in MCDU
“RCDR”
Voice and Data recorders operate:
-5 minutes after initial power up
-On the ground from 1st engine start to 5 minutes after 2 engine shutdown
-In Flight
“OXYGEN” SYS ON
Means that signal has been send to the back to drop the masks
