What is a luminous object?
It is anything that can produce light it like a light source.
What is is a light wave?
It is a transverse wave that travels in a straight line.
What are the similarities between water and light waves?
1) They are transverse waves
2) They have undulations t right angles to the direction the energy is moving.
3) They both transfer energy from one place to another
4) They both can reflect
What are the differences between light and water waves?
1) Water waves have a medium- they travel by moving particles
2) light does not need particles to travel
When does light travel faster?
It travels faster in vacuum because there is no air, no particles nothing. Space is mostly a vacuum.
How fast does light travel in a vacuum?

What does constant mean?
Always the same no matter what colour light it is.
