Light Dependent Reactions and the Calvin Cycle Flashcards
1
Q
What happens in light-dependent reactions and the Calvin cycle?
A
When the sun hits the chloroplast H2O is taken into the thylakoids and O2 is “booted out”. Next, the energy molecules are created and transferred into the Calvin cycle where CO2 is taken in (input) and glucose and used energy molecules are taken out (outputs). All the outputs are “booted out” from the stomata.
