star shrinks ▶️ fusion reactions take place ▶️stars surface gets very hot ▶️ while dwarf formed ▶️ white dwarf formed ▶️ unable to sustain fusion reactions ▶️ fades to become a black dwarf
what happens when late stars die
star collapses ▶️ outer shell explodes as supernova ▶️ remains shrink more ▶️ neutron star created ▶️ sometimes collapses even further ▶️ this becomes a black hole
