Pathogenesis of lichen planus

A

Normal healthy keratinocytes present antigens by MHC-1. Cytotoxic T cells kill them and this then starts to spread from stratum basale to stratum granulosum. Keratinocytes start to proliferate and increase in size called Hypergranulosis
