what does the operation schedule involve?

A

Licensable activities
This means that the provision of late night food and alcohol music and any other activities. The sale of alcohol and times of license.

General opening times of the premises

The period of the licence
this applies for one off events i.e Glastonbury. However due to the numbers attending wouldn’t qualify for a temporary event notice

Designated premises supervisor
this means that Premises which sell alcohol must name a specific person (who must have a Personal Licence) so they are responsible for the for the premises

but they aren’t required on the license

A

Removing the licensing requirement for amplified live music taking place between 8am and 11pm before audiences of no more than 200

so that the provision of entertainment facilities no longer amounts to regulated entertainment and is therefore not licensable

A

Venues in England and Wales with a capacity of under 200 people will no longer need a licence for live music between the hours of 08:00 and 23:00

Live unamplified music can also now be played in any location under the act
