Level 2 - Dev Row Change control procedure Flashcards

1
Q

What is the procedure for contractor led changes?

A

Contractor led changes needed to be reviewed by the CMT and instructed before the contractor commences

Contractor had to provide any cost and time impact, and any supporting information, dwgs etc of the change, I would then agree the cost of the change with the contractor to be signed off by the CMT/ EA / Client

I would record all changes on a schedule

Why did you prepare and estimate for the change and not the contractor?

A

To ensure the client was getting value for money

My estimate was used as a basis to agree costs with the contractor (similar to a PTE)
