Q

What are the 4 different pools of neutrophils and explain demmargination of neutrophils?

A

Bone marrow, marginated, circulating, and tissue.
Vigorous exercise or stress releases catecholamines and cortisol which basically knock neutrophils attached to the vessel wall into the blood, increasing the neutrophil count.
See this big time in the Pulmonary circulation.
