16
Q

what’s the most common sign of ALL

A

lymphadenopathy

17
Q

tumour lysis syndrome

A

hyperkalemia
hyperuricemia
hyperphospahtemia
hyper ldh

18
Q

why could you possibly see superior vena cava syndrome ?

A

in ALL, as if can infiltratek the thymus which is in the mediastinum so can compress nearby mediastinal structures

19
Q

unusual presnetaton of hodgkin soemtimes

A

itchy skin

20
Q

TKI used in

21
Q

tki GENERATIONS - NB

A
  1. imatinib
  2. nilotinib + dasatinib
    3.bosutinib
22
Q

7+3 used in

A

AML except M3 vairant

23
Q

transolactions for AML

A

M2- 8,21
M3- 15,17

24
Q

why does hodgkins cause itching

A
  1. release of pro inflammatory cytokines and histamine like substances
  2. eosiniphila linked with histamin
25
lines of stem cells
lymphoid - b, t , NK myeloids - eveything else
26
wbc classifcation
granuloctyes - eosiniophils, basophils, neutophils, a granuloctyes - b, t, NK , monocytes
27
which type of leukeia is known for affecting b lymohcytes
CLL
28
does leukemia ffect lymph nodes
not all, but the most associsted is CLL
29
for someone to have cll what must they have
lymphocytosis ( RAI )
30
WHICH LEUKEMIA IS MOST ASSOCIATED WITH MASSIVE HSM
CML
31
WHY IS THERE HSM IN LEUKMEIA
1 the sheer amount of wbc accumulating and building up in organs like the spleen 2. due to congestion and stagantion 3. the spleen working hard to remove the dying cells, the liver also takes part in this too,in fact this is why the liver can take over the functions of the spleen so thats why we can live without a spleen
