Q

What is the difference between “too”, “also” and “either”?

Example:

They applied for this trade too.
They also applied for this trade.

They didn’t apply for this trade either.

A

“Too” and “also” are synonyms but are not put in the same place in a sentence. They both mean “aussi”

Example: The also applied for this trade. = They applied for this trade too. = Ils ont aussi postulé pour ce métier.

Either = non plus. Le mot “either” a besoin d’avoir une forme de négation dans la phrase.
Example: He didn’t show up at his first appointment and he didn’t show up at the second one either.
