What is the difference between “remember” and “remind”?

A

Remember = se rappeler, se souvenir (opposite = forget). Example: I remember her first name but I don’t remember her last name.

Remind = “rappeler” in French. Causing someone to remember somthing. Example: Please remind me that I have an appointment. Also: make us think of someone or someting else (Example: You remind me of my dad when you talk like that!

A

Good” is an adjective. It describes a person or a noun.
* Example: He’s a good guy. She’s a good teacher. We are good students. My English is pretty good.

Well“is an adverb , which means it describes a verb. Example: She speaks English well. She drives well. My English teacher sings so well! She missed her vocation!

Wnat is the difference between “still” and “again”?
NOTE; They can both be translated by “encore”…

A

Still = a situation that continues until now.
Examples:
* I still teach English.
* Do you still work for the armed forces?
* I caught a cold last week and I’m still sick.

Again = a situation that stops and restarts.
Example:
* I went to Mexico 3 years ago and I want to go again.
* I explained it to yo last week but I will explain it again.
* He applied for the job a few years ago and he wants to apply again.

NOTE: The word “still” has a few more meanings but I will not explain them here to keep things simple.
