Commend
V: to formally praise or recommend someone or something.
Example:
-commend someone for something: The judge commended her for her bravery.
-commend someone on something: Reeves commended his opponent on her historic victory.
-For a low-budget film, it has much to commend it (= it deserves praise).
-highly commended:
It says on the back cover of the book “highly commended”.

Example:

Adj: careful not to cause embarrassment or attract a lot of attention
Example:

Example: an extra grant may be awarded in a few cases, at the discretion of the committee

Example: amusement parks offer lots of diversions for every type of persons.

Phrasal verb: to fill an amount of space or time
Example:
