Why is understanding historical context important?
You will understand the text better and because you need to know the author’s point of view.
What is a context?
The backstory or circumstances which may be is the reason for writing.
Everybody has different historical context because?
Everybody is different. By where you live, race, groups.
How is historical context identified?
It i8s identified by when and where you live.

What is a step to do after you find historical context?
You look at how the author’s message had impacted the author’s purpose and point of view. Look at how the message has effected the author’s purpose.
