- Briefly describe the WS’s view of the difference between “natural liberty” and “Christian liberty.”
**Natural Liberty = **
1. Liberty that is part of our nature as human beings.
2. We are given a will that is not coerced or forced to make decisions by an necessity of nature.
3. Rejection of fatalism and determinism.
**Christian Liberty = **
1. Liberty which Christ has purchased for believers under the Gospel.
2. Their freedom from guilt of sin
3. Condemning wrath of God
4. curse of the moral law
5. being delivered from this present evil world
6. bondage to Satan and dominion of sin
7. Sting of death

a. liberty of Chrstians from the yoke of the Ceremonial Law
b. greater boldness of access to the throne of grace

Moral = Worship is once a week and on Sunday
Ceremonial = Time on Sunday, Place (Building), types of chairs, ect.

The SC expands the explaination in a H-R sense walking all the way through redemptive history and God preserving his “Kirk” or church.
