Macro View
Sociologists may focus on an immediate situation where there is interaction among people or looking at the situational patterns of social interaction.
MICRO VIEW
Also known as Symbolic Interactionism. Focuses on the Symbol and Details of everyday life.
Symbolic Interactionist Perspective
also known as Functionalism. It supports the notion about society as interdependent and by itself is reliant to other aspects which contributes to its functioning as a whole. Herbert Spencer introduced this perspective.
Functionalist Perspective
it is also known as “collective conscience”. Social cohesion is formed when people are cultivated to cooperate since they are engaged in similar types of work which makes them similar values and beliefs.
Mechanical Solidarity
it is known as “complement through specialization”. Social cohesion is formed when there is a demand for individuals for a specialized service which involves highly complicated endeavors.
