better - pi bon (more good)

bigger - pi gwo (more big)

If you want to say best, biggest, etc add pase tout (translated as than all)

pi bon pase tout - best (more better than all)
pi gwo pase tout - biggest (more big than all)

pase can also be used to make more specific comparisions
Ex: His job is better than our job - Travay li pi bon pase travay nou
