Q

Where and how do you created the parent tab of a multi‐tabbed form (Ex: How do you create the
big “Ortho Exam” tab that contains the smaller tabs for ankle, knee, hip, etc.)?

A

The parent tab is an LQF form record that is created in text. It must have a type of “Tabbed
SmartForm” even though it is not a SmartForm created in the Designer. It must also list out the exam
SmartForms that were created in Hyperspace.

Q

If a tabbed form is restricted to ages 5‐13, how do you configure forms to appear for a 16 year old?

A

A single SmartBlock SmartLink record should have an appropriate tabbed form listed in its
initialization parameters, delimited by ^. This way, a patient of any age will get forms to populate the
Physical Exam tab.
