It also points to the culmination of its revelation in Jesus Christ as the one who can by faith save us and shows us how to have a relationship with him. Looking for three things in this answer: 1. To reveal God 2. To communicate God's truth 3. The culmination of this truth is in Christ 4. To make us understand our condition and how we can recieve forgiveness and possess eternal life in relationship with God through Christ.

The Hebrew Scriptures are divided into three main divisions i.e. the Tanak the Law, Prophets, and Writings while the Christian Old Testament is ordered along topical lines
