  • head tilt (towards lesion)
  • falling/leaning/circling (towards lesion)
  • nystagmus (slow phase to lesion)
  • proprioceptive deficits (on side of lesion)
  • depression (esp if brainstem involvement)

  • blindness (with intact PLR)
  • abnormal mentation, behaviours and vocalisation
  • aimless wandering, propulsive circling
