- It is a bacterial infection
- Can also be known as weils disease

How can you get leptospirosis?
A
- Contaminated water, mud, soil which contains infected pee that gets into the mouth, eyes, a cut

A
- Fishing
- Planting
- Swimming
- Weeding

What is the immune response to a pathogen?
A
- The capillaries widen which increases the blood flow
- Walls of the capillaries become more permeable and fluid is released into the tissues
- Leukocytes are attracted to the blood and they are moved to where the infection is
- An increase of leukocytes are circulated in the body

What is a notifiable disease?
A
- It is a disease which has to be reported to the local public health to notify the disease
