A

A
- no discrimination
- also covers friends and family of someone in the protected characteristics
- prevents workplace harassment

- if the act is broken the org risks fine

- HR must be aware so it is presented in job advertising etc

- increased costs
- need back payment to staff if they’ve been underpaid

- 25yr nd over must be paid the higher living wage
- aims to increase worker moral

- prevents accident so less absentee
- prevent staff feeling less valued
- prevent any bad reputation

- provides protective clothing for job as role required
- safe access and exits

- cooperate with employer and ensure guidelines are followed
- don’t intentionally misuse health and safety equipment
