A

Leeds acts as a shopping destination for the North of England
It is also home to several major universities

Rosario has rail, road and air transport links which help develop its importance as an industrial centre. The city is located on the costanera, the bank of the Panama River.

Leeds has a large amount of Polish citizens aswell as Irish and claims to have the oldest Caribbean community in the UK

This has lead to a double in the amount of ethnic minorities from 1991-2011 (7.5% to 15%)
Leeds has a West Indian carnival to celebrate its diversity

The origin of the population is mainly Spanish and Italian. More recently the most common group of immigrants is in Paraguay with 600,000. This effects the cuisine, language and architecture. However the emigration has lead to a brain-drain.

A street in the city centre is the most polluted outside of London

Greater Rosario has the second highest unemployment rate in the country (8.8% compared with an avg of 7.1%)
CRIME:
Drug trafficking leads to lots of crime - officials claim 15-25% of killings are linked to it
SOCIAL INEQUALITY:
There are many slums in Rosario which are caused by uncontrolled development

A

SOCIAL:
South Bank proposes a new railway station which will hold more passengers than Gatwick
ECONOMIC:
Area is home to ASDA and new walking routes will link communities so that people have ease accessing jobs
ENVIRONMENTAL:
River Aire will be located in the middle o the new city centre and river taxis will provide CO2 free transport

Diet improved for low income families 
ECONOMIC:
The majority of workers are women, they earn income and gain skills
ENVIRONMENTAL: 
Production of food reduces CO2 emissions
