Q

Outline the procedure used by Lee et al

A

Each child had to read four stories, the storie focused on fictional children behaving in different ways

  • a child would behave ANTI SOCIALLY and then TELL THE TRUTH to their teacher (admit to oing something naughty
  • a child would behave ANTI SOCIALLY and then LIE to their teacher about what they had done (deny doing something naughty
  • a child would behave PRO SOCIALLY and then TELL THE TRUTH to the teacher about what they had done
-a child would behave PRO SOCIALLY and then LIE bout what they had done (deny having done a good deed)

The children were then asked to rate what the child did in the story out of 7 from very very bad to very very good.
