Organizational culture
= system of shared values and beliefs that interact with an organization’s people, structure, and systems to produce behavioral norms.
What is a learning organization?
Organizations that are skilled at:
- creating, acquiring, interpreting, transferring & retaining knowledge
- modify its behavior in response to this knowledge
Why is organizational learning needed?
- Rate of learning can be the only sustainable competitive advantage (everything else can be copied…)
- World is changing and we need to adapt to these changes
