Q

What are the findings of acculturation orientation studies? What is the ideal behind these studies?

A

These studies recognise that outgroup perspectives can range from positive to negative. When Australians were asked on attitudes towards Muslims, integrationist and individualist policies were more supported than segregationist and assimilationist policies. Moreover, attitudes were more positive than negative.
